Hello hello,
This project will be a gorgeous keepsake. Are u using a rack or hoop to keep fabric taunt while stitching? The fabric looks soft like it might be difficult to stitch at a constant tension. And then again it's obvious you've figured that out as it lays so flat.

Hi! Thank you! I'm using q-snaps on it. The set I'm using is just the right size for the squares. The fabric can be a little frustrating in that it's "fuzzy" and when I make an error and have to tear out stitches (not that often fortunately!), the needle gets caught in the fuzz. Given a choice, I don't think I'd ever use this Angelica again!

Hoping to have the next square finished tomorrow!

Latest finished square! Gladiolus-Freesia:

I could have had it done a couple of days ago, but all that back stitching got so tedious that I kept getting distracted! I like how it makes a piece look, but I sure don't like doing it!

Also, mistakes were made, but I won't bore anyone by pointing them out!

Thanks Karen! The next one is called Rose Gallica. I'm looking forward to it because I get to use different shades of pink and green for a change!

Just wanted to add my encouragement, and to tell you
how enjoyable it is to wait and watch for the next block of beauty! :applesauce:

I like to photograph before and after backstitching,
just as a reminder of how much it's worth the misery of doing it!! :D

Looking forward to the next square....hope you're enjoying it as much as we are!

I wish! I love daffodils and jonquils. And there are what I think are odd choices for the flowers, at least one of them, like a magnolia blossom. Pretty, but I think other flowers would have showcased the range of colors in this thread better, like the yellows and oranges and purples. The top row will be fun with narcissus and jasmin in pretty pots and I'm really looking forward to the peony and the sweet pea.
