Michael's is a chain store here in the states and Canada. They are a crafting store and they also sell on-line.

Tandem Cottage and Polstitches are both excellent companies to deal with so I would recommend that you look on their sites. If you want 14 count let met know as I have metres of it.

I did finally find the piece of aida that I was looking for. The main piece is 29X46 and then it has a couple of side pieces that can be used for other patterns. Let me know if you are interested in this piece. It is white and 14 ct aida.

I thought it might be to small oh well that is ok I can always use it for something and maybe later on someone else may need a large piece. Glad you can help enable your friends stash shopping. :D

Hello milkmaid - please tell me where your friend goes to buy aida off the roll? I haven't seen a shop that does that in SUCH a long time!

If you're shopping by mail, I too would recommend Sew and So - one of my current projects is on a piece of evenweave that's about 3ft long and I ordered it from there.

The local store where I go always sells Aida off the roll. They have at least 20 different rolls and if they don't have your color/size, they will order in a roll or piece for you.
