The stitching is done. I just have to wash it, press it, and attach the tassels then it is ready to frame. I am thinking of a padded backing because of the knots that I had to use for the cording and anchoring 4 strands for backstitching



It is a little hard to see the french knots on the collar but they are done with an opal ribbon and there is metallic thread in the smyrna stitches, cording, and collar.

Only just catching up with this thread but both pieces of work are lovely. I especially love the bears. Gorgeous design and beautifully stitched.

My next project is another small one (I like being able to finish )



I started this yesterday, had to make cupcakes for baby's first b-day, and do school work, so not as much as I'd like to have finished.



Today has not been a great stitching day either, had to run errands, but I did buy some ribbon to hang my 12 months wall hanging, and some yarn to start another project
