Hi Angel
First of all Congratulations on your wedding day.

Try to have a get together with other adult bridesmaids , mam and sister. This will stop any "she said this and that" behind your back and been taken out of context.
At this time you can put together pictures, colours, patterns, materials of things that YOU want for your day. State the rules and listen to suggestions as long as they are in the boundries. Although this seems harsh it gets everything in the open and lets your wishes be known.

I don't have any other adult bridesmaids I was with Chris though when everything has been said between me and my sister as we both get carried away and remember tones differently, so I look to him for reassurance because he tells me straight.

Thanks for all the reassurance. I'll try and toughen up and not worry too much about what she thinks over what I think. I did ring her up and have a good talk to her about what I expect from her and what she can expect. I think it worked well because she was pretty helpful today. I mean, she still encouraged my younger bridesmaids to misbehave and I had to intervene on more than one occassion and use the "grown up" tone to warn her and the children to behave >_< But it was really rather fun today and...I've chosen and ordered my dress now! It's perfect and already has a nickname. It's my Cinderella dress.

I'm forbidden to say a thing in case Chris sees it...but I do have a picture I can show via PM. My mummy gave in and said I was allowed to PM people, but I let Chris read this forum way too much to be allowed to post on the threads
