need help to convert chart sizes
Hi i have a loud of cross stitch i need to convert can someone tell me any easy way to convert the sizes from 25 down to 14 or 16 need help
Re: need help to convert chart sizes
Not sure what you mean by converting the chart sizes.
Do you mean the chart gives dimensions for using 25 count fabric, and you want to use 14 or 16 instead?
The easiest way is to use the number of stitches in width and height of the pattern. For example, if the pattern is 140 stitches wide and 100 stitches high, divide by whatever count fabric you want to use.
For 14 count, 140 divided by 14 is 10, so the pattern itself would be 10 inches wide. 100 divided by 14 is about 7.14, so the pattern would be about 7.1 inches high.
Hope this helps!
