Storing UFOs
So I've got a *few* UFOs now. One day I will finish them. HONEST! Just...not yet. Well my question is, how can I store them so they won't get damaged between now and the random point in the future when I want to finish them?
Re: Storing UFOs
I would get a nice clean bag (canvas or cotton) and then I would loosely roll the fabric so that no unnecessary folds are added. And hang them in a closet out of the way so they won't get dirty. I only have 1 ufo at the moment but that is how I have it stored.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
Re: Storing UFOs
Lessons I have learned:
Don't leave needles in the fabric, they rust and leave rust spots
Don't leave hoops on - the marks are very annoying!
Other than that I would leave the project all together (i.e. threads, chart etc) so you have everything you need when you finally pick it up again.

Re: Storing UFOs
I use the clear plastic zip folders you can get from Staples and Tesco etc like these. I've got quite a few of them now

Re: Storing UFOs
I've got 4, started all of them years ago when I was a newbie and took in projects far more advanced than my skills allowed!
They were all kits and I've got them each packaged up in bags with all the kit contents but lying flat at the bottom of my kit storage box.
