Another HAED case! Don't be afraid of evenweave. Lugana is very, very easy to use, and lovely fabric. Remember, you are going to be putting months of your time into this piece, and the fineness of evenweaves does compliment the investment.

Thanks everyone,

Serinde, thanks for your advice, it's definitely something i want to try but for now i think my first HAED will be challenge enough without trying a new fabric too

I have been to hobbycraft today and got a few new bits - bobbin box, needle threader and charts magnets (cos i keep losing my place  ) had a look at some 25ct evenweave and i would need a maginifer for sure, could hardly see the holes lol So I must admit I am glad i got the 18 ct aida kit.

Will let you know when postie brings my kit :D

Ooh Im so happy you decided to buy the HAED. :applesauce: :D :applesauce:

I myself have never done one. I want to start on though. I guess I will see how it goes with you before I buy one. I have a question though, Where did you buy your 18 ct aida from? and also how do you know how much aida you need? I think that is my main concern now before I actually buy a Haed.

I just dont know how much fabric I will need or from where to buy it.

Good Luck though, and do keep us posted please!

Great, another fellow HAEDcase! :D I'm looking forward to seeing you stitch Wrath, that's a lovely choice. I know how excited you must be - when I got my first HAED I couldn't wait to get started!

Sounds like you are very excited. I look forward to seeing your work. I, like you, have never used evenweave. I am glad you took the challenge. Good luck.

Hmmmm, I asked what HAED was on another posting because I couldn't figure out what it stood for!!

Now I, too, have you lot to blame for making me poorer and adding to my growing mound of 'love to' projects!! :P

I only ordered a couple of sea horse ones...one thing I do need help on, if you don't mind my asking and hi-jacking your posts a little?? But how do you get on with all the pages printed on, mutiple sheets of A4? I've never used them before and am a tad intimidated by them all!!!

Thanks and good luck with Wrath!!

Don't be intimidated by all the sheets. Just treat each one as a seperate project and then you will get a real buzz every time you complete a sheet. Just take it one at a time and don't keep thinking about how many you have left and you will be surprised how quickly you get through them. :D
