Colour help- scottish flag

Hi all

Im new to the forum, was wondering if anyone could help

for my dads birthday I would like to do the word DAD filled with the pattern of the scottish flag, was wondering if people could suggest colours for the flag in DMC numbers which are closest to the flag colours

The short answer is officially the blue in the saltire is Pantone 300. What that comes out as in DMC I'm not sure, but there must be a way to match it. The flag has, however, had both a lighter and darker blue background to the white cross in its long history. (I prefer the darker blue, myself.)
