Hi, my name is Colette, I am 60 years very young Married to my soulmate.
I have been stitching for about 15 years now, I love speciality stitches and adore hardanger, I have mats all over the house :lol
As I am disabled I tend to be able to spend most days stitching, arent I lucky.
I hope to make new friends here.

Welcome, you have come to the right place, quite a few of the girls are into speciality stitching and threads here. Disability has some advantage like being able to stitch when most other things are out, and it really helps pass the time, I know!

I've not tried hardanger, thats still on the "maybe one day list" but as I am in mid my 70's I guess I should move it up a bit. I also have an unfinished piece of my mothers cut work embroidery still waiting for me to do it.
What are you stitching at the moment please?
