Disney Christmas ornaments -- update 11/18 (FINISHED)

I'm taking a little break from the Snoopy Christmas project to make these little ornaments. I found this book on eBay --- it's from the early 1980s! I'm a huge Disney fan, so I had to indulge.








I've started with Mickey. Here's my progress so far! I'm using 18-count aida and each ornament will measure approximately 2 inches.

I love that booklet--I bought one like it a couple of yrs ago--think I did the chip and dale one and thumper from it. Thanks for reminding me of it though--may need to hunt it down and do up a few more of them. Your mickey mouse is coming along great

You've made a great start! Those are such cute ornaments! Wish I'd seen them when my kids were little; my son loved Mickey Mouse, and my daugher loved Donald Duck.

Mickey's almost done --- but the craft store didn't have one of the colors I need for his face, so that will have to wait until I have time to go to a different store. In the meantime, I've started on Dumbo.

I should be able to! There are a million JoAnn fabrics around here.

Dumbo is finished! I'm starting to work on Donald, now --- it's just the beginning of a Christmas bow, so far.
