Ok so I'm loving this piece!! Its the funnest thing I have ever stitched, so much going on and so many little wonders to finish. I've taken several pictures to put up here but then think, oh I'll just do that bit - and it goes on and on!

So this is how far I have got: I've done some of the backstitch as I go, and the ladies dresses in the foreground are done in silk/satin thread, and there is blending filament in the wall sconces - and the foreground men's jackets are silk/satin as well. I did the men's jackets with two strands but then realised that one strand is way easier!! So the dress is all done in one.

(notice the damned dog hair - who said labradoodles don't moult???)

I'm loving it so much I made sure I got the station scene that was in XS Collection the last few months as well!

Downside is that I'm finding it really hard to do other projects as I'm loving this so much!! Poor Carousel dancer is a real toughie after this!

 Beautiful stitching! It's amazing how you captured such details in the expressions on their faces. It does look like a lot of fun!

This is lovely! You must make sure you send a photo into the magazine when it's done, especially as you have "made it your own" (as they say on X-Factor) with the addition of satin threads and metallics. I think they're inspired touches. :applesauce: :applesauce:
