Time for an update! 3 meerkats completed, number 4 in progress. This is coming on a lot quicker than I anticipated, so I'm intending to stitch all the meerkats now. It would have been a bit cruel to leave some of them out!
I did have a visit from last week. The chart is in colour, with symbols. However, a few of the colours have no symbol and 2 of these were very similar. It was immediately obvious when I stitched the next shade, so I was able to correct it quite quickly.

You've gotten a lot done! It looks very nice; glad you're going to do all of the meerkats. Glad you were able to spot the problem with the chart and that it didn't mess up the work.
Ohhh I love it I love Meerkats, I drive everyone bonkers when we go on family trips to the zoo because I could watch the Meerkats forever!! the kids look for a little while then want to go and see something else and they end up having to drag me away!
They are so cute and your doing a great job of stitching them cant wait to see them finished x

Symbols / colours like that are one of my pet peeves! I can never understand why they don't put symbols with ALL the colours, rather than just some. And it always seems to be colours that are similar.
Great work!

What a fantastic design!! Who couldn't love Meerkats - they just make you smile so much!! Your stitching is beautiful - can't wait for the next update!!
Many years ago cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.
Another update on the meerkats. I even watched Meerkat Manor the other day whilst stitching this! I had to roll the frame up to work on the foreground this week, so apologies for the decapitations! I thought that now was the time to get all of the "boring" bits done, then I'll continue with the meerkats. I think I'll do the big one next.
Considering all the similar colours, this one seems to be stitching up really quickly.
