What a beautiful design--and so nicely stitched up. I imagine it was fun to do the backstitching on this one, as it just really brings the animals to life!! I think a wall hanging would be great!!

Yes, unlike so many people, I quite like back stitching for just that reason. It really brought this one to life.

Very nice finish!! I like doing the backstitching also, I sometimes find it's easier than doing the cross stitching (this depends on the project of course)

Thanks, everyone! I love it too -- the primary colours are so great for young children, as well as teaching them about animals. I posted earlier that the gift is for the daughter of my best friend, who is expecting twins in December. Their three-year-old sister is already excited, so I'm sure she will like this too.
