Your logo looks great! It's funny, I thought I was the only girl who played hockey and cross-stitched. Nice to know there are more of us! :)

NICE!! We just need about 8 more of us and we can form our own team. What position do you play? Left D is my favorite.

It's my back that's keeping me sidelined -- it's doing much better! I'm still not playing hockey yet but I'm able to walk and do some bodyweight exercising again without pain, which is a huge improvement over the past year. I started working with a personal trainer about a month ago and it's been leaps and bounds ever since (I think a lot of my problem was getting to be psychological -- I was so afraid of re-injury that I basically just sat at home and watched TV all the time).

Contact sports are scary!! Hockey is awesome because you have so many pads on. I play in a women's league, and we're all roughly the same size, so when you hit someone, everyone just laughs. It's like being wrapped in bubble wrap. :D

This week's update! Not much since I actually spent most of the week on the penguins. This one is close enough to being done that I'm mentally picking out what I want to do next.

Actually left D is my favourite too  , but I'll play right D in a pinch. Pretty useless as a forward. I've actually been sidelined because of back issues too, and then I lost 40lbs and now none of my equipment fits. So there will be some investment before I get to play seriously again. I've played mixed and women's, lately just pick up now and again. I hope your training goes well and you can get back playing!

Keep your stick on the ice! And your logo looks fantastic! :applesauce:
