I am just loving this piece. I am excited too because it is a gift for my brother, and he lives with me so it will be displayed in our house for now

What a cheerful, colourful piece it is, congrats on a great finish! You know, such a lot is going on in it with such a lot of colours that I would never have thought of using a hand-dyed/variegated fabric for it, but it really works with the swirlyness of the fabric complementing the movement of the design -- great choice!

I'm really pleased with the way it turned out! The fabric is 36 count linen in "Crystal Masquerade" by Picture This Plus
http://www.picturethisplus.com/ " target="_blank I can't take all the credit for the fabric choice - this is a gift for my brother, who lives with me, so I let him pick the design and gave him options on the fabric, and he chose this one. I figured since he lives with me there was no way I could stitch this as a surprise
