The Cold Makes Me Stitch Faster

Greetings from Fairbanks, AK!

It just dawned on me, I have been stitching for nearly 10 years now. Wow! My stitching has followed me through a few different apartments and a cross country move. I love working on many different types of craft projects, but cross stitch is my favorite. Right now, I'm trying to get back into a large project, since I took a hiatus during the summer. Thank goodness for the long dark winters- they really kick my crafting in to high gear!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

The big ongoing piece is Teresa Wentzler's The Guardian. I love dragons, so in spite of working on it on and off I still love it.
I'll have to get my finished stuff up in the gallery shortly. Most of them are just little things with a lot of wolf related patterns. They are another favorite critter of mine.

I can't wait to get back into stitching, I took more of a break than I expected thanks to some medical stuff this summer and fall. I have so very many cool patterns I want to work on, including a couple Alaska themed pieces I snagged down in Seward during a summer camping trip. It's too bad that the fabric would get too dirty or I would stitch during break at work! :ratherbe:
