Corey.G wrote:Very nice. I love it. I'm picturing dorothy's shoes in red dmc metallic. I love that movie so much I can literally recite it word for word. I didn't know they had brought it into cross stitch.

It's an old kit, just never got round to doing it

I have the chart it you want to do it
I chance the red cotton on her shoes to metallic red thought it
Would look better and it does, I'm pleased with it

I have two wizard of oz chart books too, one Santa is bringing

I also love the film, it's my all time favourite film so for me this
Was a joy to stitch
Oh yes I agree that the colour that you chose instead of the metallics is a good choice. I was just thinking of how it would look with the metallic.

Right now i'm torn between these two patterns. I'm more leaning to the second one. You've got me thinking about doing a wizard of oz pattern now in the distant future. Happy now? lol. I love this movie too much and after seeing this done in cross stitch I had to look online for patterns. What do you think? The second one I think is best.

I used red metallic on her shoes instead of the normal red that it said to use
It dont show up that well in the photo

The two patterns you found are nice but they have made them
On a pattern generator program I think
So I'd be very carful they may not come out all that well

I bought one off eBay ages ago spent months stitching it but I never got any picture from doing it was just a mess of colour.
If they are ok I'd go for the first one you posted.

I have other wizard of oz patterns that all come from a book. Have a look in the wanted section. I posted a link to the book
