Clock Fractal - Fair Results

Post by JenEric »

Calling Pengwenn & Kimkat.......as you both are responsible for my latest new start. Pengwenn - have you been working on yours? Kimkat - can we entice you to start?

I started this on 11/7 - here is my progress as of 11/11.

Image

I am really enjoying stitching this one - almost 3000 stitches in - all black and I am not bored. I really really like this one - it is hard for me to put it down.

Purchased from cross stitch collectibles - stitching on 25 count evenweave 2 x1 - will be 12 x 12.5 inches when fully stitched. I'm too lazy to put a picture of the finished design up - but if you really need to see it, Pengwenn has a picture in her sal thread or you can find it on cross stitch collectibles - it is fractal 267 (I think).

Good start! And being all one colour so far means it stitches fast! :applesauce:

Hi Jakob - hope this link works - it is to the regular print - I opted for the download version which is a bit cheaper - and I got instant satisfaction.

Rach - I think you should add it to your rotation now...it's more fun to stitch together. :D

It is the next start on my list - HOWEVER I have two designs above it that need finishing first and they are both currently on hold until I stitch my Christmas gifts.

(The fabric has already been gridded up though....)

Your's is looking great for all that black! :applesauce:

I'd love to, I'm really itching to get started on a new project, but I'm racing to get my current project done in time to give it to my Mum for Christmas. Although while I was out yesterday I picked up WOXS and got distracted by the sweet little card that came with it

KK, oh come on and join us! You know you want to!

Is that all the way across the top on yours? I'm about 85-90% done with page one. I had to put it aside to work on something else but this project is still my current project. Maybe I'll post a progress picture later today.

Pengwenn - not quite all the way across - almost to the end of where the first group of black stops (if that makes sense). Quite a bit of page 5 & 6 are winter white. I'm kind of stitching down now - the right part of the black circling back (very hard to describe). I'm not looking forward to that confettie back on page 1!

I am stitching this completely different from anything else - but that's part of what makes this hobby great. Do it anyway you want and you'll still end up with the same results.

Thanks everyone - I do hope you enjoy watching this develop.

Boy....had to dig to find this thread. Progress and updates are alot slower when working a rotation.....and being too lazy to take a photo and upload it.

Anyway - here is my progress as of 2/3/11 (before I switched projects).

Image

This is my main piece for this year - so hopefully there will be another update in a couple of weeks.
