A productive weekend

Post by Froglady78 »

This weekend I went to a four day stitching retreat in Mt Calm Texas. I finished a few projects:

toil and trouble by Erica Michaels -

this one I did the stitching on last year, and finally got around to doing the assembly into a wall hanging:

Also, at the retreat we exchange gift boxes with a number of different themed items. Well, all the people at the retreat know how much I love frogs, so one lady created a box just for me and decorated the outside to make sure everyone else knew to let me have that box. Everything was frog related including an ort bag, scissor fob, scissor case, fabric, beads, charms, etc

I also worked some on my HAED, and am hoping to stay motivated so I can finally hit the halfway point. No picture to share yet

the retreat is sponsored through our local cross stitch store. The owner somehow found this wonderful location. She also has a lot of designers that donate for door prizs.

Super stitching!! As I scrolled down the photo of 'toil and trouble' I was thinking "there must be a frog here, somewhere" .... and there he was at the bottom!!

I absolutely love the expression on the frogs face in your wall hanging - he is brilliant!! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

...... and all your wonderful gifts - they really do know you, don't they!!  :ribbit: :anotherfrog: :ribbit: :anotherfrog: :ribbit:
