Here are two cards I've finished. The fabric is 28ct navy Brittney. The flash rather spoils the effect of the really, really dark blue cloth and the variagated thread (Caron Pistachio), but you get the idea.

Oh wow Serinde those two cards are so lovely. The pistachio variegated threads go so well with the fabric. Where did you getthe pattern for the second card? I love it and think it would-be perfect to do in the sane colours you have done and turn it into a biscornu.

Thanks. I was lucky enough to have kept a fee card kit from a magazine and just used a bit of a bookmark design. I love the beads cause they remind me of cranberries. My fav.

As soon as I saw this design, I knew it was perfect for one of my friends. Can't decide if the ribbon is too much, so I made it detachable.

Where did you get this pattern? It is too cute for words!!
It was a freebie from the Online Needlework Show from Pine Glen Designs. They were having some sort of contest I think and the pattern will be available for purchase after November 26th.

Great ornaments Wanda! I think I like the last one without the ribbon.

Great cards Serinde! I love that thread and nice choice with the dark fabric.

Fantastic ornament, Wandatoo... the ribbon has gotta stay, it's fantastically OTT, and just perfect for Christmas.

The design for my cards was in issue 210 of New Stitches, exactly as the designer recommended. There are a whole series of designs (6 or seven in all, both large and small), and some are geometrical, so would made wonderful biscornu.

Everything is brilliant. The cards are gorgeous. I love the victorian lady and the ormanemts are beautiful.
I had a little scrap of fabric left over so I made a little biddy ornament (I have a couple of small trees for Christmas and it is a great fit.)
