Mabel Figworthy wrote:Serinde, I've been wondering about those glass coasters -- are they easy to mount stitching in? How do the work? They almost look like a sort of sleeve.
These are really easy to use, and very good looking. Each coaster has a little picture already in place. Remove that, and use it as a template, cutting your stitching to exactly that size, having stiffened it with some iron-on vilene first. Then I used the tip of my scissors to widen the sleeve at the back, and popped it in. It moves around a little (but I hope not too much, Swanbird!!)

Due to some issues and my being away from the forum for some time, my package was shipped out today. My stashmas receiver should have their package in a couple days. I hope they enjoy it!

I also received my package today and love it. thanks! I will try to get photos posted as soon as I can.

Here is the promised photo of my stashmas present from Midge!

There are two great hardanger kits. The first one has no cutting and is a nice gentle intro, and the second one does have a bit of cutting but is a lovely intro into hardanger which is exactly what I wanted!

There's also a lovely ornament with a peacock stitched on it and a handmade peacock card

There are also a couple of anchor pearl threads! One classic white, the other a variegated greenish colour.

Lovely! The two peacocks are beautiful (and the variegated perle is a bit peacocky as well, isn't it :-)?)

Happy Stashmas Day everyone!

I can't wait for my package to arrive - I am SO excited about seeing what's inside. I think my postie thinks I fancy him because I'm always hanging around the door when he shows up - LOL!

Happy Stashmas day... I was so hoping mine would arrive in time, I posted ages ago and usually it takes only a few days between the UK and Hungary (but when it is longer, it is a lot longer  )

On the other hand, I am not sure my recipient has been around the forum much lately. I hope she is OK.
