So we had some sickness make a round in our house, and since I am the mommy it was my job to get sick last. I finished 6, 7, 8, & 9. I am hoping to stitch 10 and 11 today. I'll update with pictures tonight or tomorrow. DD is still not 100% so my time is limited.

As much as I enjoy making this advent calendar, I'm not the biggest fan of the designs. i am going to do different designs for when I make my son the calendar (for next year). I am eithe going to design my own or look throuh my Christmas books and find suitable designs.

I am so behind since the whole family got sick. Here are days 6-11. I can still finish this in time, but I need to stitch two a day from here on out.

I'm not a fan of what my camera does to the designs. There are two different colors of green in the wreath and the bird has eyes. It looks better in real life.

This is an ok advent calendar, but I am going to use different charts when I make my DD and DS each an advent calendar for next year. I have already started getting those charts together.

I'm starting to crank them out now that the family is mostly better. My DD (3 months old) won't take a bottle anymore so I don't get that time in the evening like I used to. I am hoping she gets over this bottle aversion soon because it has been almost 2 weeks since I have been able to leave her side. I love her, but I need time for myself!

Sorry about the poor picture quality- I decided not to use flash so that some of the back-stitching would show up better. I still don't know how to take good pictures of my work.
