I'm looking forward to following along. TW certainly does a challenging design but I like your idea of how you sort your blended threads. I am old fashioned and still do everything with one needle but tonight I think I'm going to set up my HAED project more like you and some of the other ladies do and leave the needle threaded for some of the symbols.

Very nice project!! I look forward to seeing this progress. Blends can be a hassle at first but once you get going with them it will be just like using one color.

Thanks everyone! I hope to post progress pics after this weekend, when I'm hoping the border will be done. I've been stitching on it for two weeks but haven't given it the time I normally would have due to other things cropping up (I think they call it "Life"' lol). I'm just backstitching it now - I decided to go ahead and backstitch the border now so maybe I won't get as bored with the backstitching when I'm all done. I'll just wait to do the beads until the end because I stitch in hand and don't want it to be any bulkier than it has to be... TTFN! :D

Oh, I've seen this design stitched once - it is absolutely stunning. Good luck, i know it's a lot of work but the end result is well worth it and I am very looking forward to seeing your progress

It looks amazing but sounds like a hassle with all of the fractionals and blended colours. Good luck and I look forward to watching this one progress.

Hi all - I've made some good progress on this one :) The first pics of the border were from 12/19 - the border and all the backstitching were extremely tedious and I thought I'd never finish it! But I'm glad I got it done first because I definitely would have lost interest if I'd left it till the end... The second set of pics are from today. I haven't stitched for a few days because we've got family in town for Christmas and I'm pretty tired at night. :) Sorry for the blurry closeup photos, my phone doesn't do very well with closeups...
