The doiley is absolutely beautiful. I must give your open dove's eyes a try: I usually pull mine slightly tighter, minimising the diamond shape in the centre. Yours are very attractive and very regular.

Ah, the tiger is grand. I started left to right, and you are going right to left, I see. He's a beaut. :applesauce: :applesauce:

Thank you Serinde. I struggle to get my Doves Eyes tighter so how you see them is the best I could manage!

Ah! He was YOUR tiger I saw in the earlier postings. You did a fabulous job on him. In fact it was that finish which inspired me to start my version. He really is quite magnificent and I love the photo quality of the stitched-up design.

No, I don't think it is my tiger. Mine is currently being framed, and I'm fairly sure I haven't posted a photo. But someone else (I forget whom   ) has also done Water Tiger II, and I thought the same about it: very inspirational.

Ok.. decision made.. I will learn how to do hardanger next year. This piece is beautiful. And I took a peek at Nachstenliebe's posts. Off to the bookstore.. and then to the stitchy store for fabric.
