J&P COATS

Post by BBB2264 »

I was givin a bag of J&P coats and DFN but I can't use them unless I transfer them over to DMC because that is what all my patterns are. Does anyone have a chart that would help me change them over. Or know of a site I can go on???

You may also find conversion charts online. Here's a whole list, which includes J&P > DMC conversion:

Those conversion charts will work as long as the floss you have is newer. I got a bunch of old floss from my grandmother and it used the J&P Coats old numbering system. I could never find anything online that converted the old numbers to the new numbers, or to other brands of floss, so I emailed the company and they mailed me a conversion chart. If you need a conversion from the old numbers I found it (I have it in excel format) so I can email it to anyone who needs it :)
