I am very happy with the progress this week had lots going on a concert, a playoff game, plus the 2 others I watched on TV, had a fundraiser banquet that we contributed to. Plus all of the regular work stuff and yet I beat up the :frog: and was able to just about able to finish the corner.

That is really nice Rose. The words in stitches say it all and yet the border as a pattern really adds to the whole design. You ARE clever!! :D

I have to say that the leaves as a border were also my son's idea he asked if I could find some that would work for it. The pattern is one that you all helped me find and I just changesd some of the colors to greens rather then the brown autumn that the chart called for. He is also the one that picked the fonts for the word. This was truely his choice. I do like how it is all coming together.

I agree with everyone - that border looks gorgeous! So effective! Well done Rose :D

BTW, don't you find it surprising that you forget about all the times that Mr :ribbit: came along when you've finished your design....until the next time that is

The only good thing that has happened in the last few days is I found time to sit and stitch in between doctors. I have finished the top right corner boarder.

And have now progressed to the left bottom area.

Your work is looking amazing, well done :) . I haven't moved on from kits  although I'd love to have a go at doing my own design.

Can't wait to see more updates.

That really is one lovely border Rose and it really does blend perfectly with the colours from the text. I love the way you have a bold part of the border right in the corner and then it comes gently down at the sides....

Lovely!
