A gorgeous finish :applesauce: :applesauce: looking forward to seeing it framed. Peacocks are such regal looking and beautiful birds. We saw a group of white peacocks at a Botanical Garden in Madeira in 2009,they were lovely too, but I like their coloured relatives much more.

Oh this is stunning - I've only just found it. It ooks like it was fun to stitch. I don't have the patience for bead work

When I get it framed I'll probably choose two different coloured mounts, one on top of the other. It creates a sort of outline, but the reason I want to do it for this project is to give a bit more depth between the beads and the glass.

This is another project waiting in my "to do" pile that shows what I mean

ahhhh I know what you mean. My dad always calls it a framing mount or mat when he talks to me (he's a photographer)

Oh my.. this is lovely. And this was a free pattern?? wow
I think it looks great without the additional knots.

And.. the name of the Christmas hardanger pattern please.. whenever you get around to that one.. I will certainly pull up the magic bench and watch that one progress. It is absolutely beautiful.
