Oooh this is looking great. :applesauce: Lucky you for having that much time to stitch. Sometimes I just barely get an hour in to stitch when it's a hectic day or I am in school. Now it's watching my nieces because my sister and her...err... whatever he is do not want to take care of them. So chasing around little ones and making sure the house is taken care of :ratherbe:.... doesn't leave that much time to stitch.

Growing nicely, in spite of the confetti! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

I also have found it better to work an area, leaving the confetti to the end of that bit, then infill the confetti before moving on to another section. Of course, sometimes I get carried away and find I've done more than I intended before doing the confetti - but I'm getting better!

Wow this looks great! Well done!! :applesauce:

How do you keep track of your time so exactly? I have been trying to keep a record of the time I spend on my projects but its always a bit approximate..

Wow! I just realized that I stitched page 4 in 1 1/2 weeks. That was 44 hours of stitching in that time. Egads, I really need to get a life!! I did get a couple of long, wonderful uninterupted days of stitching in that time. :D Nuttystar, I keep a pen and paper next to my stitching and write down the date and my start and stop times each time I sit down to stitch and if I'm going to get up for more than 5 minutes or so I take note of that. <<<< OCD at it's finest right there, folks!!! I've never done this before. It can be a real eyeopener!

I did as I said I was going to do with the confetti stitches on this page and did them as I went along. I'm not sure it was any quicker but that did seem to make it less frustrating. I left a lot of the needles threaded instead of putting each one away everytime. I need to order a few more packages of needles in this size because I only have 6 (5 now that one of them seems to have walked away. I definately think this is the best approach to all of these confetti stitches!

Page 5 should be interesting. It will either go quickly or make me even crazier than I already am. There are 4836 stitches on this page and 50% or more are black and at least another 25% are of darkest brown. I'm not a fan of stitching that much black! I am quite surprised at how dark this project is turning out to be. From the picture it looks a lot brighter.

Thanks for following my progress! Happy stitching, everyone!

Lisa
