Latest update on my eagle. Going to work on him for a little bit tonight (how long kinda depends on if this storm takes out the electricity though) and then play with the new stash my aunt gave me the other day at my cousins first birthday party. That kid is getting big too, I didn't hold him for more than an hour and my arm was sore all day yesterday!

He's looking good! I hope the cousin-induced sore arm doesn't impede your stitching too much?

Have fun playing with your new stash too :-)!

Have been taking this guy out again and am making tons of progress! He's not frustrating me as much as he used to which makes me think taking a break from him was definitely a smart move! I've finished all of the black in his right wing; just got to finish all of the combined colors.

:applesauce: :applesauce: It looks great! I'm working on my 3rd eagle right now, and they can get frustrating! Just a small tip, if you're not big on backstitch, try to do a little bit of it on the eagle as you go because there's always a lot. It's worth it in the end, but it can get frustrating and tedious.

looks fantastic. Eagles can be hard because of all the backstitching like Busy_B says. One of my first cross stitches was an Eagle. I think that was when I decided that backstitch really made a difference though in sharpening (is that the right word?) the design.

You have really made good progress. :applesauce: :applesauce:
