Dolly's projects

Post by dollystitcher »

I decided to combine updates for Ice Dragon King and Woodland Enchantress instead of clogging up the system with two different threads. I have been working on Ice Dragon during the week and Enchantress at the weekends so here is my progress this week
Image
Page 29 is about 75% finished, so I am hoping to start page 30 this week.
Here is the progress on enchantress. However I only noticed when I came to take this photo that I have managed to use the wrong colour in this section. If you look closely where the top right section joins the top left section, there is a noticeable difference in shades of blue. It looks as if there is a dividing line between the two. The most obvious part is just below her hand. I don't know if that makes sense but I don't know how else to explain it.

so it looks as if i am n for some heavy frogging this week. :(

Fabulous progress on both, they really are looking great though.

The colour in the blues doesn't seem to show up so well to me, probably colour monitor differences, but I'm hoping it's not a massive amount you need to frog. :frog:

Both projects look wonderful! :applesauce: I guess I can't really see the difference with the blues; it just looks like that was how it was meant to be.

You've done a wonderful job so far!

As far as the slight color change goes, it looks like the only part I'd worry about frogging would be right under her hand. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to do!

They are both looking great and the color difference is not noticable in the picture. It is a shame you have to :anotherfrog: . :(

Both are coming along so nicely. I hope the frog stays away once you get that sorted.

Thanks everyone, I am hoping it will only be the blue under her hand I have to frog, the rest is quite spread out so does not show up as much :)

I am about two thirds of the way through page 31 and the Wizard should start appearing in the next row.
And this is where I am up to Woodland Enchantress

I am hoping to finish the main part of this next weekend , then I can start on the backstitch, french knots and beading. :)

They are both looking fantastic! You made a good progress. I wish I was that fast at stitching (I guess I would be faster if I hadn't 3 pairs of socks to knit during the next weeks...and learning for my upcoming exams... :ratherbe: )
