Poor you getting so bored with the large swathes of identically-coloured crosses; still, I suppose it's a cross you'll just have to bear  to produce something so impressive -- it's looking great Daz, and you've made such good progress!

BTW, someone I know who does large projects tends to keep those samey bits for when she's stitching in company, because it means she can be more sociable as she doesn't have to follow the chart with such close attention.

Thank's for the updates Daz, I know what you mean about large areas all the same, they get to you after a while.
The border really makes it click into place already, it's a great project :D

Wonderful job! I'm the opposite, I get a little lazy and get stuck when I have to constantly change colors. I'm able to fly through the areas with a lot of the same color stitches. Great work!

Thanks again to everyone for the continued support.
and sorry that I don't have another piccy update at the moment. I've been making the most of the good weather and some time off in the past week to get some garden landscaping & tree felling done. (I even made a basic bench out of one of the tree trunks)

Unfortunately I'm unlikely to be too enthusiastic about stitching for a day or two, cos my hands are blistered from using the axe to chop the tree trunks. :ratherbe:

Just for the benefit of any environmentalist members, the tree trunks were leftover stumps etc from dead trees

Tree trunks are fine! Part of the "modern" carbon cycle. They belong here, growing then being burned or decaying. It's "ancient" carbon that's the problem. So, no need the explain or apologise! :D
