Go Team - from design to stitching

Post by godzoned »

Hi everyone.

Yes 3 projects on the go with me at the moment.

This is something I had an idea for. Woke up with it really.

I'm thinking of designing a x-stitch for a rugby/knome mad neighbour. Just for the heck of it. Or maybe for Christmas.

Here is the picture I sketched out...

The next step is to draw it in PCstitch and then do it. lol

I could see this will be adaptable for any team colours too.
And most team sports. Just change the ball and the colours.

Thanks for following me on this new design jouney.

This is really going to be a good SAL Right from the moment of conception to the finished project. I will be keeping my eyes on this.

It's great to see something grow from the first sketch to the finished piece -- this is certainly a thread to be coming back to!

 ok everyone I'm more concentrating on Tree Beard first so this is going to be a while.

Hoping to get the pattern started to be drawn up next week.

So don't hold your breath. (don't want you lot to "cark it" - ie: die)

This project may take a while.

So Rose pick up your cross stitch you are doing and keep sewing away or you'll never finish it. lol

so sorry this is on the back burner and it may never be done. Shifted and who it was intended for is now no-where to be seen.

What a shame, it was such a fun idea! I only just noticed the gnome biting his nails all tense-like :-)

Oh well keep it handy, it might come in useful for someone.

Where are you living now? Was your previous abode damaged in the initial quake?
