I had a neighbor for almost a year who was super cool. His whole garage was set up for woodworking. Everything in his house he had made himself. When he was living there he was in the process of making a pool table He was definitely an expert, and I think your work looks pretty even with his.. With some practice and the proper tools you can go far with this craft!

Fantastic work!! So neat!! And an interesting hobby! I particularly like the one in the second photo, but they are all great. Wouldn't have guessed you are a newbie

All of these projects that I've turned so far have taken under an hour to do. Some of them a bit longer but mostly about an hour. It all depends on how many "oops cuts" you take.

Thank you. That's my personal favourite too because My girlfriend and I had made that one together. Even though I did most cause she was scared of the lathe.

That's so sweet!!! but I don't blame her, I would be terrified of the lathe too awesome that she still did it together with you despite her fears

I ventured to my parents garage and done some more woodturning. This is the result. First time I've ever attempted something like this. It was supposed to be a cup but it turned into a kind of small vase. Also just done some prepping for a log that I just got. Hopefully it'll be ready in about a month.

I turned two pens today. The blue and black one is acrylic, and is my first ever pen that I've turned. Happy with it. But the second one I'm most proud of, it's a wood called Cocobolo. Any questions, just ask away.
