Our pet rabbit passed away this past wednesday.
His name was Oreo
and here he is:

he had one wonky ear that stuck straight up and the other fell down to the side. He would chase the kids around the house like a puppy dog..and when we said "carrot time" he'd go to the fridge..when we'd open it..he'd stand on hind legs and put his paws on the crisper drawer...
He will be missed. I believe age was the cause

thank you everyone. it was hard that day, i was working a double shift and my daughter (age 14) called me at work sobbing like mad. I felt so horrible that I couldn't be there to hug her. thankfully my husband arrived a few hrs before me and called me not sure what to do with a sobbing teenage girl.
I said just three words , "Just hug her"
that's all she needed.
