Christchurch Earthquake - again

Christchurch has been hit by another very large earthquake around lunch time local time. Enormous damage to the CBD many casualties and there are deaths.

My sister, bil and nephew are all ok. My step GD was shopping in the city but is ok she found her car flattened under rubble and a passerby drove her home. She still can't reach her mother or step father. Praying they are both safe.

For those of our forum living there, I do hope you are all ok as well as your loved ones and friends. Please let us know you are ok.

My beautiful city once again devastated. As my DD said half an hour ago "thank God you are not still living there" .

I've just seen this on the news Sally and I thought of you straight away.
I hope your step GD can get in touch with her rellies, I shall be saying some prayers too.
It said here the death toll was 65 and 200 people are trapped in rubble.
It sure puts my worries into perspective.

Update - my GD mum and step dad finally got in touch and are both ok, so thats all the immediately family ok and such a relief.

Tried to do some stitching at various times, will know tomorrow how accurate it was but at least it occupied the mind for a short while.

Do hope all our forum members are ok over there. Power is slowly coming back on so we will hopefully hear good news from them soon.

So glad to heard everyone is ok. Heard through other friends on facebook that they are ok too. It's absolutely dreadful that this has happened again.
