Lovely piece! I'm sure you'd love to get more done, but a childless weekend probably should have other priorities.
[quote="Lisa"]Not touched this in a while but this progress is what I have done yesterday and today. Won't be doing much this weekend as I am going on a child-less weekend break with Paul to Caerphilly I've told him he can't take a laptop he's gotta spend some time with me, so I don't think it would be very fair if I took the fairy

Looks great. Some friends at our sewing group have got some of the Joan Elliot fairies that were in the crossstitch collection magazine and we hope to start them soon. we are all going to do a different one. Will let you know how it goes. The only one we did not get was the poppy fairy.
I love these fairies. I saw the Iris Fairy you posted. I am new to the forums, so forgive me if you answered this, but where did you get those patterns? I love the work you did!

The original poster hasn't logged on for almost a year but I can answer your question! They are Joan Elliott Fairies and the designs originally appeared in UK Cross Stitch magazines - Daffodil Fairy appeared in Cross Stitch Collection Issue 193. If you wanted to stitch it and can't get hold of the magazine, Polstitches sell Joan's Chartpacks or you can buy them direct from Joan here depending on where you are in the world! Some of her more recent designs are available for purchase and download here.
