HAED QS Simple Joy Fae by Nadia Tate - Finished 3/1/12!!

Here is the HAED I've started while waiting for the next page for my Faerie Bride SAL piece... She is being stitched 2 over 1 tent stitch on 28 count Lavendar Bliss Lugana. This is my first successful attempt at tent stitching. I tried 3 over 1 tent on 25 count with my Passion SK but will have to restart that one because it was just too bulky, but i wasn't happy with the 2 over 1 coverage on 25 count... Geesh. Right now, the tent stitches on this girl seem really obvious on the stem but once you have the area completely stitched, I don't think it is noticeable that they aren't full crosses. This pic was after only about a week, so it definitely goes much faster! I love Nadia Tate's fairies and mermaids... :)
