Slinky's Stitching 2011 - Chatelaine update

It's absolutely perfect. The white edging really draws your eye in towards the tiger.

Thought I'd post a few pics from my Chatelaine project. I have been working a lot on this recently, trying to get through Part1 which I have done & almost finished Part2.

So, this is the main border finished:
Part 1 (all whole stitches)


Part 2 with Rhodes stitches:


The corner ornament:

And with Algerian eyelets & Rhodes stitches,


And the oval ornament (halfway up the long sides)

And with eyelets,


I have Part 3 now as well, which completes the elaborate border. I am really enjoying this, now I have got past the tedious outlining & counting of Part 1. The silks remain an absolute joy to stitch with.
