biscornu question

Post by cgirlish »

Ok I was attempting to make my first biscornu.... but the pattern I chose is alot smaller than I thought ... the square is only about 2" maybe 2-1/2.... is this too small for a biscornu or should I just make it into a scissor fob ??

The smaller the biscornu the harder it is to finish. I have made a couple which are about one and a half inches across and the last side is really hard to stitch. For a first biscornu I think you should make one at least three inches big - much easier to stitch the corners and especially as it will make the last side less troublesome.

There are some lovely designs by Kell and Agi on the 'sharing charts' thread!! :D
