Not really. :oops: :cry: I don't use a frame or hoop and keep the thread fairly taught. Sorry that isn't much help at all is it.

Very pretty. Although the Algerian eyes may seem menotonous I envy how yours look. Mine looked odd when I tried it but it seems you have the perfect tension on yours.

I have finally completed this after it has languished for so long in my sewing box.
I have got one side slightly longer than the other but the way the instructions are you can't see where to put the seam you just have to trust your judgement.
All in all I am very pleased with it.

Beautiful Midge!! Tissue cases are definitely on my list of 'smalls' to make sure I actually get round to 'finishing' properly!
