HAED ~ Quick stith??

Post by Lizzieh »

As I nhave said before since my four months in hospital I have beenb unable to sew. I have finally given up on my model stitch of surfers dream and have chposen a quick stitch out of my stash.
I am having to do it on 14 count and am very worried that it will look awful. I am rotating thius with some small ones from my cross stitch a day calendar from last year.
This is where I am so far. It has taken me two weeks! Very frustrating.

I'm glad to hear you're able to stitch again. I think that's quite a lot of work done, and it looks great! I think you'll be happy with it as you continue on. Keep taking excellent care of yourself too.

I'm glad you're feeling well enough to stitch again, and even slow progress is some progress, we all do it one stitch at a time! :D I'm stitching a piece on 14 count for the first time in ages, and mine doesn't look right to me either, but I think it's just because we're so used to much smaller counts. I'm sure if you persevere you'll get used to it, and I'm positive it'll look fab when it's finished!

Very frustrating not being able to do what you really want, and what you used to be able to do, but you are stitching again which is great!
