What a cute design for an even more cuter baby!!

It dont matter how long it takes. if it's made for someone special means it's made with so much love, and it's all for just that one person. So if it takes you 2 months or 2 years. The person who gets given it won't even care. It's more the fact that when they look at it finished and hung on there wall they think of you and all the love and work you put into it for them which makes them feel special

That looks adorable! Great sampler.

About the thread, my mom always used anchor and that's what I've always used growing up. I have a few DMC's though and personally I can barely tell the difference while working with them. I still use anchor the most since that's my collection of threads but now that am in the US I might start using DMC to slowly replace my anchor threads since that's more readily available here. I also heard that in the 90's DMC lost a bit of it's quality, but that these days Anchor and DMC are both great brands to work with.

Always loved Winnie the Pooh! Great sampler! :applesauce: :applesauce:

As for threads: my mom always used Anchor, so I did for years. I now have quite a selection of mom's Anchor threads, but rarely use them. I began to find it easier to obtain DMC in shops, so got into the habit of using them, and now the shops are gone, I still opt for DMC on-line. There isn't a lot in it, regarding quality, and colour differences just add a little extra variety of shading, which can be very useful, I have found. For me, they are all equally easy to tangle! :boohoo:

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, I am glad you like it :)

I think I am using the threads too long and am getting knotted up because of it, going to try using much shorter threads to see if that helps. I have wasted so much thread because of it knotting up it's crazy! Plus I was silly and tried sorting some thread out with the cats about. Fun toy, threads are. *blushes*
