Thanks everyone. Yes, the colours are amazing to work with - I love some of the blues, just electric.

And I've changed my mind on the black and I'm doing it as I go. Kinda glad I changed my mind because I have 2 pages of background to do and it's already driving me bonkers so imagine if I had the WHOLE thing

I'll update again soon. Off to read some posts, it's been ages since I've been on here

Looks great and just love the colours.I love doing designs that has lots of different shapes and colours going on and your not sure what it is till you have nearly sewn it.

Glad to hear you have started to do the Black,because that's all i have been doing on Trixie and though the end is near its never ending.Long to do some colour on her.The only good thing is that there no counting and frogging when watching tv.

Thanks everyone I had my own 'wow' moment yesterday .... I finished stitching the "12" on the side of the carriage and it looks so good!! I didn't realise how clear and detailed it would look .... I'll try an get another picture today.

Black is coming on well. I took it along to DD's basketball training on Wednesday to kill the hour as there was no counting, etc ... got heaps done but managed to leave & lose my black thread so that kind of put a stop to black work until last night when DH kindly went to the craft shop on his way to the driving range to pick me up some more. Back to black today
