Kingfisher project--Finished 8 22 11

Post by karen4bells »

I recently started on this, from Cross Stitch Collection 197--love the design. I'm working it up on 32 count ice blue linen

I love kingfishers and this is a stunner, such an alert expression already! Lovely choice of fabric, too

I assume that you are aware that all kingfisher cross stitches have to live in one of the bedrooms in my house. Seriously though it looks gorgeous.

I will wait eagerly and impatiently for the next update.

Is it the bird on its own or is it within a scene?

:applesauce: Lovely. I did an afghan once with lots of birds on them, but no Kingfisher. Now I'm thinking I need to look and see if there is a place for one. Yours is really good.

This is a collage of three kingfishers, all different poses--will be so fun to stitch it up.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone, I'll try to get a scanned picture of the design soon. It's really nice!!
