Never been to Paris(and probably never will) but this Dimensions kit appealed to me. Plus, I had a coupon for 50% off one item(AC Moore craft store has been giving them out like candy...and I keep going back for more).
This is actually going pretty fast. Most of it is half stitches!
here's what it will(should) look like:

That is lovely, merbs. Have also had a look at your other work on webshots - you have some lovely stuff - I like the willows, very effective together like that.

I must join my friends: this is really a beautiful piece, keep up the good work. And your other works are gorgeous as well! We are always happy to have such talented people among our ranks.

That's also by Dimensions, their Gold Petite collection. It's called Beautiful Bird. Can't see in the pics, but the tail has gold thread highlights.
Thanks everyone for the compliments!
Took time out this weekend to stitch this for mom for mother's day. Thinking of putting it in a square trivet that's why I added the extra bee 'trail', but it still looks like it's missing something. Not sure I'll have time to come up with more so I might put it in a coaster. If you've seen this project in Cross Stitcher, there's another mug with the kitty's butt sticking out. Do plan to do that as a coaster.
merbes that kittie is CUTE ! i plan on stitching those too!

Merbes I love your main project, the butterfly looks lovely already, can't wait to see this progressing.
I've got the Cross stitcher with the four Kitties in Mugs too, and plan to do them one day - they're just so cute. I like the way you've added the bee trail - good idea
