Beautiful, beautiful work! I love how Xiang embroidery pieces seem to come to life. I had the opportunity to see a few pieces in person a while back. The tiger pieces I saw were exeptional. If I understood correctly, the looser, more free form, "arts and crafts" style done on silk gauze is intentional and helps add life to the work. Is that correct? There was something mentioned about the way the threads are dyed and used that also add to the effect, but I didn't understand it all.

Thanks for sharing. I would love to see the piece in person.
