What a beautiful piece, you did an amazing job!


I did download the free pattern and thought that I would stitch it up and frame it and donate to one of the cancer support centers in my area.

Thank you. Yes, I made that quilt entirely by hand from the piecing to the quilting. That's the only way I care to make them. But now, I'm totally hooked on cross stitch! :D

I did this cross stitch when I had cancer. It made me fight against it. All the words are true and make a vast bit of difference to your way of thinking. I had never done beadwork before but I promise it is very easy. I like putting beads on things you don't have to.
I hope you enjoy doing this. I sent one to strathcarron hospice where my mother died in 1991. One to the macmillan health centre I attended and one to the local cancer shop. I just wanted to thank people and help people when they read it.
All the best to you attempting to do it which I'm sure you will finish with ease.
