Mabel's Necessities box finally finished!

Yesterday I finally got round to varnishing the box I am using to store my hoops, and attaching the Necessities Sampler to it :dance: :dance: . Here it is:

Where did you get the box again?.Was it plain or did you have to varnish it.I'm looking to do a baby memory box.

I got it from Boxy Lady; this is the 23cm one (she does papier mache boxes as well). It was plain so I gave it two coats of Antique Pine varnish -- the colour is now practically identical to the browny yellow in the design!
