ARGH! Panic!

I've just now ordered another skein of black Soie d'Alger because I'm going to run out of what I have. The shipping cost more than the silk! Even using up scraps and such, all the satin stitch fillings in "His" blackwork sample create so much unuseable waste I hadn't reckoned with -- not to mention an extended visit from :ribbit: . :x  And I'm delivering them in Edinburgh on.... TUESDAY!!!

Oh dear, hope the silk makes it double quick!

The blackwork is just so beautiful, and I am in awe of anyone who can do reversible blackwork; I've used Holnein stitch but can never get the starts and finishes as neat as I'd like. For some reason I can't see the pic of the back :thinks: has it gone missing since you posted it or is it my computer playing up?

I've just caught up with this and soooo impressed by your beautiful work. Jaw on floor time when I looked at all of these. Well done, Serinde. We are so lucky to be able to see these beautiful things.

The silk arrived the very next day! Excellent service from Sew and So. You are right, Mabel, the photo did disappear: but here is the finished product:
