Green Goddess by Joan Elliott

Back and have fabric in hand so I'll be starting soon. I chose Wichelt hand dyed Jobelan 28ct in Lavender Sunset. I'd wanted opalescent fabric (just itching to try it) but talking it over with a friend she thought and I agree it already has a lot of sparkle to it with the specialty threads and beading so non blingy fabric might help all of that pop. It is a soft lavendar with some occasional green which sounds odd but it's very subtle and just perfect I think with the MANY greens in the threads. I can't wait to start on it. I have about a weeks worth of work left on my dragonfly pond set to finish and I found the perfect backing fabrics and felts for them (post those when they're finished).
